DRAGonFLy performs aerodynamic shape optimization with a discontinuous Galerkin solver for the steady compressible Euler equations in two and three dimensions, built on FEniCSx and CSDL. It combines B-spline free-form deformation, inverse-distance-weighted mesh warping and adjoint-based derivatives of lift, drag and pitching moment for gradient-based optimization. It supports the projection-based model reduction research on accelerating high-fidelity aerodynamic design.
